- Analysis-Farquhar was set up by a soilder who was pretending to be a Southern soilder but was actually in disguise of a Northern soilder. He reported back to the captain and Farquhar was to be hanged. Though his attempt to escape was not successful it only led to his death. He only daydreamed about living to see freedom and return home to his wife.
- Analysis-I was only doing what i was told by my captain to protect my side which is the North. I knew what the consequence would be for any civillian caught interfering with the North's efforts in the area would be but war is war. When Farqhuar asked "how a civillian could attempt some form of sabotage.", that was like a sign I should go and warn my captain that there was a civillian trying to harm and interfer our plans. It was deceitful of me to have done what I did but in the end it's about who protects their side and which side gets ahead to win.
